The draw has been made for the Miami Open presented by Itaú, taking place from March 20 to 31.
The two-week combined event features the top women’s and men’s tennis players.
Angelique is no.10 seed and has a first-round BYE. She will open her campaign at Crandon Park on Thursday against world no.76 Johanna Larsson (2-0 H2H) in R2.
No.23 seed Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova might await her in the third round, and seventh seed Caroline Garcia is her possible fourth round opponent.
Last year, Angie lost to Venus Williams in quarter-finals (5-7, 3-6). Her best result in Miami is semi-final finish in 2016.
